One Austin team, photographed again and again over two years, from swanky bar meetups to go-kart races at Circuit of the Americas to tailgates before University of Texas football games.

I love photographing people. While I primarily shoot large corporate events, I really enjoy the chance to document the moments that unfold at smaller, private ones.
My goal is to build lasting relationships with clients. These smaller groups trust us to be the guardians of their memories, capturing the essence of their events and the personalities that define them. Regular interactions let us get to know the people and their stories over time. Citadel, here in Austin, is one of my favorite examples.
Over the last two years, I've had the privilege of photographing Citadel's team gatherings, from swanky bar meetups to high-octane go-kart racing at the Circuit of the Americas to tailgating at University of Texas football games. Being a regular presence at these events creates a unique intimacy, and it enriches the storytelling.
The principles stay the same as they are at a big conference: capture the full spectrum, from wide shots that show the space and the atmosphere to the medium scenes within it. What sets the work apart is what I find when I zoom in, both literally and figuratively, on the individual interactions and emotions.
Photography is storytelling. I want viewers to feel like they're flipping through a personal photo album, reliving those moments, and to experience what it felt like to be there.
